I got an excellent response from both Fanfare and Magnum Dynalab. Both manufacturers indicated ther sideband filtering removes the artifacts. FYI Fanfare indicated trade-ins of FT-1A AND FTA-100 will be accepted, pro-rated of course, on a new HD model due out mid '07' So, anybody know of any other manufacturers that can say "No Artifacts"
