I am using the Fanfare FM-2G indoor antenna (similar to the Magnum Dynalab antenna) for use with my Magnum Dynalab MD-102T FM Tuner. While I preferred to go outside (or even the attic), I was not willing to tear down walls to run the required wires. The use of an indoor antenna depends 100% on your location. In my case, I have no problem and the reception is very good (for most stations). For your application, the only way to determine if it works is to borrow the FM antenna and try it out. My antenna is connected to a large L Bracket and it stands behind my stereo cabinet (~60" high). Of course, an outside antenna is the best but this might not possible for you.
