Radio is not dead. I have 11 analog tuners. Some of them tube tuners. One of which is the TFM300. It hasn't been turned on in at least 12 years. Today I made all the connections, including an outdoor antenna using a hula hoop wrapped in 18 gauge zip cord and it worked perfectly including all the lights. This tuner is heavy. After about an hour it started to bloom and sounded excellent. My question is---The muting switch has off-1-2-3. Even when the muting is off there is no noise between stations, as if the muting was on. I always keep muting off on all my tuner. Alex Lok in Raleigh, NC did an alignment on it when I bought it on AG and put in two new gold plated female RCA connectors. Any advice would be appreciated because I actually miss the noise between stations. Thanks
