Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

This sort of fell into my lap and it is trying to work. Aligning the MPX board would improve its sound but I have only found schematic so far online. If anyone has the steps in order to get these six or seven coils correct that would be great. Thank you.
