I couldn't believe that that capability wouldn't be included with the McIntosh MR89. I downloaded the user manual at the link mhardy6647 provided in his original post. On pages 20 and 21 there's information regarding signal strength and multipath indicators in the tuner's display.I'm with you though. Despite the output meters satisfying the average McIntosh buyer's need for the ubiquitous blue meter look, they'd be useless to me. I'd much rather have predominantly displayed signal strength and multipath meters, instead of the tiny "cell phone bars" display the MR89 offers.
