I have mounted an omni-directional antenna in my attic and am wondering whether to ground it against lightning, and if so; how to do so.
I have a power strip in the living room with 'in' and 'out' cable connectors marked 'cable/satellite connectors'. The power strip is three pronged and plugged into a grounded wall receptacle.
Do you think that this would provide adequate protection for my antenna? I want to prevent damage to my tuner/preamp.
Thanks.
