When I was a kid, we could (Very Very Seldom) get a TV station from Milwaukee all the way to the south of chicago. Call it Chicago Heights, for map purposes.
Maybe just OVER 100 air miles. And NO antenna rotor. Just aimed for chicago stations. Which Aint' bad, for Milwaukee, either.
