Nice review of those tuners. I also enjoy those 2 Boston stations, but need to stream them (I'm 200 miles west).
FM Antennas are like real estate - it's all about the location. If you must use a dipole, get it as high as possible (attic or 2nd floor ceiling), using 75 ohm extension cable. Despite most intuitions, there is little to no loss from say 50 feet of decent 75 ohm cable, but the gains from achieving better placement can be huge.
And try multiple locations, again, if possible.
Even adding one reflector element behind a dipole will help.
