Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

With my TV antenna I've done some scans lately and gotten this channel when conditions were right. 240 miles away. That's my digital TV DX record.
It's WAVY 10 in the Tidewater (Norfolk) area of Virginia. I'm near Harper's Ferry ,WV.
No signal now during the day. I'm sure atmospherics have to be just so. To confirm I called the station to ask if they added a new tower location. Nope.
