Those gas tubes can be somewhat noisy. Also, there is a limit to the amount of current they can shunt. You will need to shunt an amount of current equal to the total amount of bias current your of your 5 tubes. Being as how they are ECC83s you should be OK. This would be a good place for your cascade MOSFET CCS. Instead of a resistor feeding the gas shunt tubes use the CCS. Much higher AC impedance. Just set the CCS to double the bias draw of your 5 ECC83s. Try to have a least 30V across the CCS.
