I just purchased a tube headphone amp, but the seller did not have the power supply. The amp is the Consonance Cyber 20 by Opera Audio. The three pins on the connector lead to the heater pins on the el84s and pin 1 on the 12au7(anode) and I'm assuming that the screw part of the connector is the ground. So it looks like I need a power supply with a 6.3V and a 300V winding. According to the specs the amp draws 25w.
What would be the best source for the transformer and is it possible to get the type of connector on the back of the amp.
Are the any after market power supplies that would just be a drop in replacement? The manufacturer wants $260 for the original power supply which seems a little steep.

- 3 wires is all you need. The heater and the 300vdc share a ground wire. - Tre' 17:45:46 01/27/25 (0)
