I listen to a lot of streaming low quality audio and sometimes find the roll off starting around 12k to be advantageous. I also don't hear anything missing when I listen to the FM dial. On that note my Prius AM tuner sounds pretty good with bandwidth out to maybe 5khz. Reminds me of my low current wimp driver tube Amps at home.
