WTF is a "BangyBang" tube?

I haven't posted here in several years, but the recent and sudden explosion of "BangyBang" on the internet has prompted me to seek the council of Asylum sages, or otherwise.

I do know how to use Google, and I am aware there is a BangyBang studio in Miami that uses a lot of customized vintage recording equipment. That's cool, and good for them! However, what the heck does that have to do with some guy selling 50EH5s on eBay??? It curdles my saliva to see reference after reference to "BangyBang" in so many tube ads on eBay. Is "BangyBang" now the "Eames" of tubes? Have I been left in the gauche company of those who don't have BangyBang? Please help!
