I usually try to get the real factory manuals for my machines.
Their quality and convenience is not possible to beat, especially on large two-page schematics.
With patience you should be able to find one. In the meantime the HiFiEngine will do fine.
One word of caution on the GX machines in general. Before investing time into troubleshooting, check their heads. Some have chipped ferrite around the gap, which renders the whole machine unusable.
If they are OK, it is one of the better looking consumer machines.
