I did some more research, and here are a few more details on my system. The turntable I'm trying to connect is actually a BSR turntable, although it has a Panasonic palate. Whether that is original or a replacement, I don't know. But the Dual turntable that worked with the receiver uses a magnetic cartrigde, while the BSR turntable uses a ceramic one. Could this be the difference?
