Looks like it should provide a somewhat narrowband notch. Too bad commercial CD players and the newer multiformat players don't include a switchable digital filter version of same, but I guess they couldn't justify losing a few khz of bandwidth at the top end to their marketing departments. I'm considering putting a passive version in my homebrew tube preamp but I would make it switchable because I definitely wouldn't want its effects when I'm playing SACD or DVDA!
