Normally 10% voltagedrop wouldn't make a difference for a CD player, which has it's own regulator circuit inside. Power amps would deliver less power to the speakers. If you can hear a difference with the balanced power conditioner, why don't you try to borrow an AC regulator and test it and than decide if the improvement worth to buy it. Miklos
