Transformers do not have the property of polarity. There is no polarity on a transformer.That's why on mains you have terms like hot (active), nuetral and earth instead of positive and negative.
Sometimes transformers are noted with a "polarity" so that if they are ever connected in parallel or in series they are in phase with one another. This is why sometimes they have different coloured leads on the output secondary.
Sometimes on the primary side the leads are coloured to reflect the mains colour code. Again in the main this has more to do with phasing than anything else.
