Hey-Hey!!!,
He'll be seeing a bit less then 7/16 th's of that CT RMS voltage. Half directly for a full wave, .9 of that for perfect conversion of the DC fundamental, add vacuum diode drop of anything from a 5R4 on up to the negligible 866/328 gas diodes. then take away IR loss in the choke....all told, something like 1k2V to put to the center tap( or for the half-amps, the B+ end ov the tranny).
