I have a vintage pair of KEF 104/2 speakers, misplaced my Kube eq and cannot find one on e-bay, dealers, etc.
Over in the Asylum Speakers Corner, I searched threads - the recommendation is to simply buy a "4-channel, stereo, parametric equalizer' and use that - until a Kube can be located.
What criteria do I use to judge a Parametric EQ for my needs? My problem frequencies seem to be 35 - 350 hz
Does this device go between my source (CD) and integrated tube amp? My integrated has no pre-amp in, it has CD,SACD,DVD amd Woofer.
What quality level of manufacture do I need to avoid lots of added noise?
Many thanks if anyone can illuminate on this.
