Hi,
I'm quite new to this so please bear with me. I have a transformer with various windings to a power supply. All of the windings output are currently running high. I have put this down to the transformer being rated at 230v input whilst running on 240v. I therefore need to drop the input voltage by 10v. I am struggling with the (basic) physics of this. If I need to drop 10v then what size resistor do I require? I would appreciate any help but especially help that comes with an explanation!
Thanks
