RE: Does reducing gain increase input impedance?

There's definitely a way to measure the impedance of any device. Not having done it myself yet, I believe you need to measure the (signal) voltage drop across a known load resistor to calculate it. try a few different values with a few different signals.

Perhaps you could design a tweak to match the impedance of the two devices.
