Hi All,
My Audiosector NOS DAC has been working flawlessly for about a year until now. A few days ago, it took a minute for the DAC to kick on, then a day later it died completely. Voltages to the SN75179, CS8412, and TDA1543 units are normal. Connections and continuity tests seem good. I suspect a malfunction in one of the three chips above. How do I check these? I only have a DMM. The SN75179 and TDA1543 are mounted in sockets, but the CS8412 is surface mounted. Any suggestions? Thank you. -Freeman
