Yamaha DSP-A1 click and pop noise - Advice needed

My DSP-A1 has started making a clicking noises through the speakers when I make any form of adjustment to the amps settings (volume, surround settings, etc). I also have a loud thud noise through the speakers (including the sub) when I switch the amp off. I'd appreciate any clues to what might be the problem. Thanks
