I have an Adcom GFA5500 that has started acting up.
The left channel has a very loud hum. The drivers move at a rapid pace, making that wonderful noise. When I disconnect the preamp and leave the speakers hooked up, the amp is dead quiet. The right channel plays fine.
Anyone with any thoughts as to where I should start?
