Marantz 2285B Dead

Obtained at a yard sale, no history other than previous owner said he took it into repair and did not want to spend the $200 required. Keeps blowing fuse--suspect primary transformer shorted. Opened up and all caps visually look ok, no leakage. If this is the primary transformer, what are chances that I can find and repair this unit? I don't have the schematic yet. Who might have a replacement xformer? The build date is 1977.
