is probably to go with what the company tells you to use. I don't know your equipment and have not seen a schematic. All I can really do is comment on what would normally be the right cap for that type of job. In many electronic circuits the right cap for the job would be something like a tantalum bypassed with a monolithic ceramic. The tantalum would do the low hertz and then the ceramic would take over the real high freq stuff. But both tantalums and ceramics are frowned on for audio. So maybe a stacked film as they tend to be lower inductance than other film caps and that should be important in your application. I don't think brand matters much and Wima certainly has a good reputation...but so does Acrotronics. So in the end I doubt you will gain much. In short, you might be better to put the efforts elsewhere in the circuit. But again, going with what the company that made it says usually is a good idea.I truly wish I could say "use this part for best performance".
