Can't you use a RF device

...to listen to the gighertz programme of this tweet:) On a serious note, there's precious little musical content beyond 25-30kilo (i.e. not mega, not giga) in our storage devices...

OTOH, what usually happens with the addition of supertweets is an reinforcement in the AF range, say upward of 10-12kHz...

As to the tweet "working" wherever you place it -- well, if you connect it, it surely should. However, placing it on top of yr regular tweet brings it obviously closer to the main sound source so preferable, as you note. Time aligning your stweet OTOH is another matter...:)
