It sounds like the protection relay (if it has one) is dropping out. This could be do to many things, bad output transistor(s), power supply problems, DC offset at the output... There are usually no magic fixes. Someone with some electronics knowledge and perhaps a schematic needs to poke around inside and see whats wrong.
