thank you, I have also asked in tube/diy in case knowledgable people dont read all forums, if I am wrong to cross post then sorry
I have 211 valve monoblocks with one power transformer replaced (prior to me) and they have slightly differant secondary voltages.
one transformer provides all the voltages in each ampVoltage discrepancy as mentioned between transformers means:
amp a)supplies 950 volts to plate and
amp b) gets 1050v
both measured at the transformers with load (approx voltages at this stage)the 100v discrepensy is also at readings at plates, can this be equalised by resistor before the rectification (ac)or after the rectification or at the tube,
Please, sugestion of prefered place in circuit and estimate of value and wattage please if it can be done
second question, with a given value, i.e 10 ohms 10 watt, is the wattage required for each resistor halved or unchanged when
a)two 5 ohm in series (? 5 watt each)
b)two 20 ohm in parallel (? 5 watt each)or do both examples still need to be 10 watt, these are not meant to be exact wattage calculations just an estimate.
Again thanks folks
