Proac Response D2 ridiculously low price on Ebay. Scam???

I am in the market for a pair of used Proacs. Specific models I am interested in are Response 2, Response D2, Studio 118. I saw this on Ebay. A pair of Response D2 in ebony, listed as demos. The opening bid asks for $3.12. 23 hours left. If you click on "full item description", You are taken to a colorful page that has Ebay logo, very splashy colors, that I never saw Ebay use. The text at this page says the following" This is a buy it now only item. All bids will be discarded. If you wish to buy it now, click here. The price listed is $1100 for USA, 900+ Pds for UK, etc. Plus shipping. In over 2 months of looking, I have never seen D2's for less than $2500 anywhere. How is this guy , (I assume its a guy), selling demo D2's for $1100? Why do you have to go to another page to buy it now, when ebay will list them buy it now on your ad page, and give the price?
It seems something is fishy. The person has 1250 feedback comments, and 100% rating. He is in Louisiana. I would love to buy them , especially at the 1100$ price, but something does not seem right here.
Any help here with opinions are warmly appreciated.
