Yes, this is the time to get the room dimensions correct. 14 by 28 is not recommended because the 2 to 1 ratio will cause some frequencies to be emphasized more than usual. The correct approach is to find three dimensions that are not related to each other.

The image below is from my ModeCalc program, available for free download via my Acoustics FAQ. I'm posting this screen shot because it shows eight "recommended" ratios you should aim for. If none of these are possible it's not the end of the world. But at least try to avoid 1:1 or 2:1 for any two of the dimensions.
