The subjectivists have nothing to prove, nor claim to be scientific, so circular reasoning isn't one of our tools.""Audioquest portrays it's product using "scientific" stuff.
When's the last time you visited JR's website? Don't claim to be scientific? Hmmmmm.
How many grain boundary explanations have we heard, how many piezo, how many cryo explanations, motor-generator, static, wire directionality explanations which are scientifically unfounded but whose explanations are presented by subs as being such?
And on the ob side, Russel presents wire guage recommendations which are 5% of the load resistance, a folly for monowire applications in a low impedance crossover, peter whatzhismane with the top ten things, seven of which are ridiculous statments..even the belden guy, stev Lampen I believe, has some errors in his stuff. Quite a few more obs try to dispel audibility claims using erroneous assumptions.
Scientific explanations from either camp which are without merit do not float my boat.
Circular reasoning, just ask the ob tech heads here for examples of such. I've no idea if you have made any, so am not actually accusing anybody in particular, but both camps are guilty.
The subs do indeed try to prove to the obs that there is audibility, and the converse also happens.

We hear it that way - therefore, for us, it is.""I've not argued that. In point of fact, I've directed my research based on individual's anecdotal accounts of audibility.

Pretty simple and straightforward, IMO.""
Twould be nice if it were such. Unfortunately, emotions and bullishness can cloud the issue.

No 'well designed' or hedged anything.""
I do recall the claims that you need a "highly resolving system" to discern the differences, so if you do not hear it, it is because your system is not "well designed". Hedging if I ever saw it..Cheers, John
