The speaker I read about was designed for high-quality sound
reinforcement purposes in large spaces. It wouldn't qualify for
review coverage, I am afraid.I don't get it. Even if it was "designed for high-quality sound reinforcement purposes in large spaces," what exactly is it about its design and performance that would make it unsuitable for use in a home audio system?
I mean, the Altec A7 was originally designed to be used in movie theaters, hence the Voice of the Theater moniker. But it also came to be used both in recording studios as well as in home audio systems.
So would Altec's re-issue of the A7 Voice of the Theater not qualify for review coverage just because it was originally designed to be used in movie theaters?
On the Danley website they say "The SH-50 works anywhere great fidelity, low frequency pattern control and unrivaled magnitude/phase response are required."
Sorry if I'm putting you on the spot here but, I don't get it.
