And in my present house, when we bought it, it had been converted from electric to gas heat. The way that they disconnected the power to the former electric furnaces was interesting, somebody CUT THE BUSS BARS IN THE BOX.
Yes. Cut. As in "with a saw" and left the wires in the wall (undrestandable) and the breakers in the box.
We did ask for that to be repaired. Now I have to figure out what to do with the aluminium wiring I found supplying the sauna. WRONG, just WRONG. NO NO NO.
