thanks john (+ all). we'll try some different positions on the gig.i think it was mainly the mic's gain before feedback issue as we had no other problems. we do have a monitor system but i'm trying a few new setups so we can travel lighter.i'm also playing on stage and i don't want p/a distractions,we in a "less is better "situation
