no relation w/ me,i'm in central new york
we were on a small stage so we just stuck the mackies behind us.i know that isn't the best positioning but like i stated,we had no problems w/ anything except the dobro.
i'll try your set up tip this weekend.i .when we centered the mic over the soundplate it was to tinny,a real annoying sound so i put it over the soundhole apprx 4'' above the inst for a better sound but we had gain issues. i didn't like his choice of a mic.hopefully he install a p/u soon
maybe i can get him to fill it up w/ water, lol
