RE: Servo Drive Basstech 7 questions

76.238.57.161

Tom posts here, and I do as well, although not for awhile. I suspect you'll have trouble trying to raise anyone at Servodrive, Inc. Others have had a lot of trouble trying to over the past couple of years. YMMV.
Typically, the belts and cones would be first failure points on a Servodrive subwoofer. The key with a used one would be the condition of the motor. They have replaceable brushes, but the commutator and shaft bearings are two important things to inspect if possible. The motor, if in good working order, would hand turn smoothly if disengaged from the belt arm mechanism.
Belting is available, but replacement cones could be a problem, as they are custom altered.

Best regards,

John
