I see it has a bipolar design on the output and you can select
tube or solidstate for the preamp drive
Did you try a single 8ohm driver?
Are you trying to drive two 4ohm drivers in parallel?
If that is the case then I suspect the amp does not like
a 2ohm load and is protecting the output transisters from meltdown
Try running one of the loudspeakers and see if it drives that load
If your running two 4ohm loudspeakers then run them in series
and not parallel
