I'd get a new:1. Case
2. Motherboard
3. CPU
4. MemoryUse everything else from your old machine. The old eMachines cases were under-engineered, and anything new, and cheap, from Antec or Lian-Li is going to work out a lot better, and probably come with a better power supply as well.
Also, look for the fastest DDR RAM you can get. Editing video requires moving a LOT of data around, and a fast memory bus will help out a lot. 800MHz is a good start, 1066MHz is even better (but expensive). I'd spend a bit less on a CPU and a bit more on a lot of fast memory.
