Problem: I use a stand-alone cd recorder to record my records onto cdr's. It's A LOT easier to do if I don't worry about separating songs into tracks on the fly (sitting there as the record's playing and hitting the 'track' button as each song ends...). I would like to record side 1 as a track and side 2 as another. I would then like to load the cdr into my mac, split the songs out, remove the needle drop sound, and import into iTunes as an album, just like I do with cd's now.Sounds simple, right? It looks like DAK makes editing software that would do this, but just for PC, not mac. Is there anything that can allow me to do this simply? Will Garageband or iDVD do this? Someone else must have the same need, right?! Help!
Thanks in advance,
RickMac
