All Intel Minis (single core, dual core, and 2dual core) also come with a mini remote that allows you to use FrontRow which is the Apple interface. A good alternative to Salling Clicker (I use both depending on mood).
With Apple the used prices have always been very high. Given the extra digital out which gives you more flexibility and the extra processing power, hard drive space, and memory, I would think the new ones are good value for the little extra ($300 used G4 vs. $600 new).
Also, im not sure, but the digital out can also put out digital surround, which allows you to replace DVD players etc.
