I switched JRMC to Debian @ version 27 or 28.I also switched to CamillaDSP for digital XOs and DSP.
Runs faster on Linux than it did on Windows on the same hardware.
I have written my own JRMC plugins.
Currently making a preamp plugin which optionally adds additional inputs and outputs so you can stream your other devices through JRMC and CamillaDSP.
User can switch inputs at runtime (e.g. JRMC, Turntable, CDP, Terrestrial Radio, Tape, etc.).
It can also drive multiple DACs simultaneously without using zones (main system DAC and headphone monitor DAC(s)).
Added a ramdisk for the transient audio files.
Linux also allows you to write closer to the hardware bypassing most of the audio software stack.
