If you are looking for a Squeezebox like solution, the word is “streaming audio player”
Today almost any audio company has one or more models.
You won’t find one as cheap as the Squeeze but that probably the reason Logitec killed it

I do think Bluesound is the heir to the Squeeze.
As they are streamers, they are playback only. You do need a PC to maintain (rip/tag/backup) your collection.
