While you can definitely build a fanless computer, my recommendation is at min PSU(has fan) Processor(has fan) and at least one case fan blowing in since your PSu will be blowing out. If your gonna load up on drives, run video games etc... more fans. I Have 2 fans blowing in from the front, 1 sucking out in back and one sucking out on top. 2 blowing in over my dual video cards(SLI)and of course the PSU is blowing out. they are all quiet 120mm fans. I overclock about 15%.
