You are not hearing the effects of the mismatch. You are hearing the interaction of the mismatch with the DAC. This interaction, and therefore what you hear, will be different with different DACs.
Since you don't post the equipment that you use to back up what you "hear" then your comments have little predictive value to others. They may have value to you, but to what end, I've not been able to discern. When Thorsten gets out his scope and soldering iron and does something, it has potential value, since it may affect what lots of people hear.
