How does one 6SL7 "drive" 5 channels of output? Or did you mean to say that each channel uses a single 6SL7 as a driver? I am totally unfamiliar with Butler amplifiers. I would have assumed they were all solid state until you mentioned the 6SL7. Anyway, driving a 4-ohm, 86-db speaker with an MA1 is asking a lot from the amplifier and probably not the way to get the best out of it. Assuming the Butlers have a very low output impedance and lots of power per channel, you're probably better off with them.
