Very Sad - Heard stacked QUADs in a few HQD Systems in 80s...

Always have loved the memory (or musical experience), and I will always have a pair (mine are stored for now). These glorious speakers were noted, as you know, for funky impedance curve especially on the top end, thus the Decca ribbon. (I should have bought them too) I had **variable** expereinces when I used to drive with NYAL OTL-3s, back then.

Given the potentially lowered impedance in these upper registers, it would stand to reason the amps may not drive (ideally) with multiple factors at play.

I have yet to pair the M60 to mine to see what happens. I will have to pull mine out and have a listen . . .

Will post (some results on this) later.
