I get what I'll call "bleed thru" for lack of a better word, on my amps when they're in stand-by and I'm doing vinyl to CD recording through the pre (MP1). I hear this "bleed thru" from the source over the speakers. I ran this by Mark and he indicated it's normal and I've since forgotten the explaination why. My fix was to fully attenuate the volume on the pre then there's no "bleed-thru" to the speakers. Hopefully, that makes some sense in a completely non-tech frame of reference. In short, I think you've got nothing to worry about.
