I wasn't aware of any issues with the zeros and the meters, but I use a digital multimeter to do offset/bias so its no wonder.I would just have at it. I think the VSMs are 8 ohms (probably pretty flat curve) and the M60s would probably benefit from seeing the impedence up there higher even though it is well known easy to drive tube friendly speaker. A friend of mine recently went from a tough to drive two-way bassreflex ported speaker that really benefits from the zeros to a much easier to drive Reference 3A and from what I understand after much back and forth decided to continue using the zeros. Whether they work well or not probably depends not only on the speaker, but the rest of the system, the room, and your ears, and theres only one place in the world where you can listen under those conditions.
